Medically prescribed IV therapy, built around you. Every plan starts with a proper assessment, never a generic drip.
IV therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants straight into your bloodstream. The nutrients are delivered through a vein, bypassing your digestive system.
This means your body can access these nutrients directly, rather than relying on digestion and absorption in the gut. It's why IV delivery works differently to taking a tablet or capsule.
At Fleurieu Wellness, IV therapy is always medically prescribed. It's overseen by a Registered Nurse and prescribed by our partnered doctor, based on a full assessment of your health history. Every plan is built specifically for you.
Your infusion is prescribed by our doctor and overseen by a Registered Nurse throughout, so you're always in safe, qualified hands.
Before any infusion, our Registered Nurse reviews your health history, current medications, allergies, and any relevant test results. This is how we make sure IV therapy is right for you.
If IV therapy is suitable, we tailor your formulation to meet your specific needs based on your assessment.
Each IV therapy journey begins with an assessment. Our nurse conducts it, and then our prescribing doctor reviews it. This is where we get a full picture of your health history and what you're hoping to get from treatment.
If IV therapy is suitable for you and your plan is set, you can book your infusions. Pricing depends on your specific plan, which is outlined clearly during your assessment.
Each infusion generally takes one to two hours, depending on your plan. Our clinic is comfortable and relaxed. We track you throughout your infusion and afterwards, if needed, so you're never left without support.

IV therapy risks are minimised when administered by experienced and certified practitioners. Our Registered Nurse follows strict IV infusion protocols. You will be monitored during the session and afterwards if necessary. The IV therapy products administered are all TGA-approved.
Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to your arms, and bring a drink bottle. If you'd like to listen to music during your session, please bring your headphones. We provide blankets, colouring activities, and filtered water.
As with any medical treatment involving a needle, there's a small risk of bruising or discomfort at the injection site. In rare cases, people may have an allergic reaction. This is exactly why every client goes through a full assessment first. So our nurse can check IV therapy is a safe option for you. She will also explain any risks in your assessment, so you know exactly what to expect.
No, we don't offer iron infusions. Speak with your healthcare provider about options if you are seeking an iron infusion.
This depends on your treatment plan and individual needs. Your nurse will recommend a plan based on the results of your assessment.
IV therapy is not currently covered by Medicare or private health insurance.
